Previous Jeeps: 84 CJ7 (A True Jeep), 2000 XJ (163,000 Miles/Totaled (Pictures of wrecked Jeep in gallery)), 2004 WJ (parting out die to major electrical issues) The bigger the size tire you go with the less power you'll feel like you have so if acceleration and gas mileage are important, go with a smaller tire. If you plan on offroading at all, get a bigger tire (245/75-16). The 245/75-16 looks a lot better on the Jeep then the 28"(225/75-16) does anyways so my vote is for the 245:thumbsup:-Ryan SayWhat77. If you're at 3.5" of lift, fitting 33's shouldn't be an issue. Our W-Max Fender Flares add about 1-2" of clearance at any given point, depending on where you're measuring. How exactly your tire stuffs into the well can depend a bit on backspacing, and so forth, but at most you'd slightly rub at full flex.
